About Lynne Nails

Come as you are. Leave a little more polished.

We’re a warm, spotless neighborhood nail salon on Elmwood Avenue — the kind of place that learns your name, remembers your color, and treats you like a regular from the very first visit.

Our story

A salon built on the small stuff.

I want people to walk out feeling a little better than when they walked in. That’s the whole job.— The owner, Lynne Nails

That’s really the heart of it. Good nails matter, of course — but so does the greeting at the door, the clean tools, and the feeling that you’re in good hands. We’d rather do a few things beautifully and kindly than rush through a full waiting room.

Lynne Nails has always been a neighborhood place first the kind of salon where the person doing your nails asks how your week’s been, and actually means it.

We’re tucked along Elmwood Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia, right in the middle of the everyday bustle of the block. Step inside and things get a little quieter. A little warmer. The chairs are comfortable, the water’s warm, and everything is spotless — because we think relaxing should start the second you sit down, not after.

Over time we’ve become a little bit of everything to this corner of the city: a lunch-break polish change, a first manicure for a nervous kid, a treat-yourself spa pedicure, and the place a guy finally tries because a coworker wouldn’t stop talking about it. Everyone’s welcome here — and everyone leaves looked after.

"Specialities I asked him to do my eyebrows and they did a terrific job I look 10 years younger"
